Welcome to the live Spark your Creativity online course!

This is an interpretive scriptwriting live online course focusing on writing for graphics. It will be delivered via Zoom during October 2026.

Through this course you will develop an understanding of the best practice principles behind interpretive scriptwriting for graphic-based media. And you’ll put that learning into practice by writing and editing a piece of interpretation. The course is suitable for those who are new to interpretive writing or for anyone looking to refresh their skills.

Course dates: Thursdays 15th, 22nd and 29th October 2026, 10am to 12noon (with short comfort break included).

• three x two-hour long live online sessions with Sarah Oswald (The Authentic Spark) covering theory, good practice and practical exercises
• the opportunity to share and discuss with peers in the weekly sessions
• recordings and transcripts from the weekly sessions (so don’t worry if you have to miss one, or if you’d like to refresh your memory at a later date)
• ongoing, 24/7 access to the online resources which include short videos, supporting materials and quizzes to help embed your learning
• individual feedback on your writing (if you choose to submit)
