This time next week I will be looking back on my first coaching workshop. Will you have been there to Visualise your Future?
Joining Coaching York this year inspired me to put my head above the parapet and volunteer to provide an event. As part of this year’s International Coaching Week, I will be sharing with others the power of creative visioning. Why do I want to do this? Because I know myself that it works!
A little over 3 years ago I created a vision for myself. It was written, not visual, but it has stayed with me since. Imagine one tiny post-it note, making a big impact! Why? My vision was heart-felt. It was connected with my Authentic self.
To read the full story of my creative vision and how it has come to life, you’ll need to visit a previous blog post.
I am a believer in creative visioning techniques now. I created my vision board for 2017 back in January. What does it hold for me in 2017?
My goals are to
Our minds use images, metaphors and stories to make sense of our worlds. We hold our past in these, and we also hold our future in them. We can access our aspirations and our true self by connecting with pictures, colours, words, textures, shapes. This is not about thinking, it is about feeling. Letting your unconscious mind open up by trusting in your response to the stimulus.
So what’s stopping you from visualising your future creatively? If you are free on Monday 15th May 2017 in the afternoon, then you should book now for the workshop. Missed the workshop? Then contact me, The Authentic Spark, to book a free, no obligation introductory conversation and see if coaching, creatively, will work for you.
